Food Pantry Update 3/12/2014

Many were waiting by the door – not along the porch – for us to open at 1 p.m. A very busy first hour.
We served a total of 30 clients:

  • 4 with financial assistance,
  • 2 were NEW,
  • 79 family members,
  • 8 singles took home a “one box”.

Grocery items needed:

  • 8 oz. (half cans) Green Beans
  • 8 oz.   “       “     Peas/carrots
  • 8 oz.   “       “     Whole Kernel Corn
  • Hormel “compleat” entres
  • 2 lb. sack of sugar
  • Pint of mayonnaise
  • Cereals
  • Au Gratin Instant Potatoes
  • Scalloped  Instant Potatoes
  • Pasta Sides—noodles
  • Ramen
  • Family size soups–chick/noodle, chick/rice, Cream of Chicken, etc.
  • Canned  Hormel tamales
