Who We Are

Welcome

We welcome you to the Immanuel Lutheran Church website. Here you will find a glimpse of what some of our ministries look like as we respond to God’s amazing grace and eternal love. We invite you to worship with us in-person or online. Immanuel has been serving God and worshiping as a congregation since 1874. Throughout our rich history, God has been glorified and made known through the people of God called together to love God and love our neighbor. We look forward to meeting you and inviting you into the part of the body of Christ that is Immanuel Lutheran Church.

– Pastor Matthew Groenke

Who We Are

“Immanuel” means, “God With Us”.

Immanuel is a community with a rich history, grounded in faith. Founded by German pioneers, saved from a fire, raised again in only a year, God has certainly been with us and inspired perseverance and dedication to faith. We trust in God’s provision and guidance to allow us to continue serving this community for at least another 150 years.

Today we are a church, called to be a home and loving community for those seeking a deeper connection to God in their lives and to fulfill our mission to gather, grow, and serve together. If you’ve been searching for a church like Immanuel, we invite you to come visit us.

There is a place for you here.

As a mid-size church, Immanuel is big enough to have opportunities for everyone, but small enough that you won't get lost in the shuffle.

A Place to Belong

A sense of belonging in the midst of our busy world. This place is home.

Immanuel Feels Like Home.

You'll be met with all of the care, involvement, friendship, and strong ties of a small town.

A Place of Authentic Connection.

Immanuel feels like stepping back into "Old Pflugerville". It has maintained the small town feel in the midst of our growing community.

A place with deep roots.

We believe in serving God by serving others. The people of Immanuel support numerous ministries which serve our neighbors locally and throughout the world.

A Place With Purpose

Many generations have raised their families at Immanuel. Our community promise at baptism is to support the baptized in their life with Christ. That is a promise we work hard to fulfill.

A Place for Family

Mission Statement
