For some children, the only consistent meals they have are their school breakfasts and lunches. When they leave for the weekend, food may not be a guarantee. Immanuel’s backpack ministry works with the staff at Ruth Barron Elementary in Pflugerville to ensure that all of the children who may face this reality, leave school with a backpack of food each weekend.
Currently, Immanuel’s Backpack Ministry serves over 100 children each week.
You can support this ministry by donating to our Backpack Ministry Fund. This money goes directly to food purchases.
