Congratulations to the following ILC graduates who were selected as winners of the Collin Lovett Scholarship for the 2019-2020 school year!!!
From Vicki & Bob Lovett:
Your hard work and years of dedication have gotten you successfully to the next chapter in your life. Your senior year was one of the most unique in the history of our country! Your ILC family could not be more proud of you. You have done what needs to be done and will continue your educational journey to grow, learn, fail, and get back up.
As you probably know, Collin, his brother Russell and sister Mallory were all Proud Hawk graduates. Collin was active on the Varsity soccer team for three years. He was a proud member of Pals and really loved his relationships with his Palees.
Collin was involved in a car accident in his sophomore year at UTSA. He passed away way too soon for the world not to be able to marvel at his infectious smile and enjoy his strong Christian beliefs.
Enjoy your summer and time with your friends and family. Remember to wash your hands, give hugs freely, as much as you can, keep God close and know you are loved and prayed for.
One last thought; A Cherokee proverb:
“When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.”
With Pride and Love,
Vicki and Bob Lovett
