Giving

The importance of generosity...

We are a community of faith committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ in a way that is inclusive, compassionate, and transformative. Immanuel has been serving God and worshiping as a congregation since 1874. Throughout our rich history, God has been glorified and made known through the people of God called together to love God and love our neighbor.

If you feel called to support Immanuel’s mission, vision or any of its programs, you’re encouraged to pray about it, listen to how God is directing you and give as a matter of faith. May the sharing of our treasure and talent be in joyful response to God’s great gift to us.

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:11-12

Your generosity is appreciated, and gifts will be used to further the mission of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Time and Talent

Church is a unique place that depends on the generous financial giving and time and talent of its members to exist.

Consider how you can live out your call in the life of Immanuel. Maybe it’s in one of our many ministries that already exist, or maybe it’s filling a need you’ve seen that is not being met yet.

As a church, we have real purpose. God works through our community to provide hope to many people. Using faith as a guide, you are encouraged to listen and discern where God is calling you.
