Although the calendar and the weather person would not agree, summer will be over soon!
Back to school and back to Backpack Ministry.
Volunteers will be needed to fill bags with food and to deliver those bags to Ruth Barron Elementary School. For a number of years we have been blessed with faithful volunteers. Any of our members that also have a servant heart, let me know.
At this time the grocery list remains the same as in past years:
- canned pasta with meat
- chicken noodle soup
- Healthy Choice soup variety pack
- Vienna sausages
- canned chicken
- canned tuna
- individual packets of macaroni’n cheese
- cold cereal
- oatmeal
- Goldfish
- peanut butter crackers.
Donations of these food items and cash are thankfully accepted.
